Ostby to speak in Argyle

ARGYLE — The Argyle Public Library is sponsoring the “Life in Lafayette” speaker series to highlight important community topics in Lafayette County and to provide an opportunity to engage with community dialog. 

“Final Wishes” by Berni Ostby will be the next speaker at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 14 at Central 52, 300 E. Milwaukee Street, Argyle. 

Ostby is a retired hospice social worker and current grief support specialist. She is an active member on the Mental Health Matters Coalition. She will speak on best practices to make final wishes before death so as to leave family with clear, wishes about medical and hospice decisions, funeral plans and bereavement. Ostby is knowledgeable about hospice and grief services offered in Lafayette County and Wisconsin as well as being familiar with Wisconsin laws.

This event is open to the public. Pizza, ice-cream and coffee drinks are available for purchase.
