Recently, the Monroe Tuesday Noon Optimist Club teamed up with the Middle School Junior Optimists. Together they collected and assembled a total of 35 birthday cake kits that were donated to the local food pantry. The kits consisted of a cake pan, cake mix, frosting, and birthday candles. The cake kits will bring a little joy into the lives of people who otherwise may not have a cake for their birthdays. The Noon Optimists Club welcomes new members.
