MONROE - The Halloween party took place Oct. 16 at Schmidt farms. Madison Katzenberger became president and Kevin M. Schmidt became vice president. The kids were voted in at the Sept. 11 meeting, and they were installed at the October meeting. They were pledging to do the jobs assigned to them. After the meeting, we played games and made cards for veterans.

At the Nov. 13 meeting, 4-H members talked about the awards they won for their projects. Ian Berg won the Opal Grossen "To Make the Best Better" Award for the Young Americans 4-H Club. He has been involved in 4-H for three years as a Cloverbud. Then we had a meal catered by Barb's potato salad.
