The Swiss Heritage Series at Turner Hall hosted its 18th Annual Alpine Carol Sing and Candle Tree Lighting on Friday, December 5. Hundreds attended, singing carols accompanied by the Monroe Brass Quintet. There were 100 candles hung on the fresh cut evergreen tree, with children and audience members having a chance to light some of the ground-level candles. Deborah Krauss Smith was the event host.
