MONROE - The annual Santa Reception will be held after the Lighted Christmas Parade Friday.
The parade will leave the Monroe Middle School at 6 p.m. and head downtown and around the Square. After the parade, children and their parents can visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus in the lobby of Wisconsin Bank & Trust at 1717 10th Street.
While waiting to have their complementary picture taken with Santa Claus, children are encouraged to visit several craft tables to make fun items to take home. Carolers also will be on hand. Mrs. Claus, area Dairy Queens and a special surprise friend of Santa's will be making the rounds throughout the evening.
There also will be hot chocolate and treats for all, as well as a small gift for each child to take home.
