NEW GLARUS — Students from New Glarus Middle School and New Glarus High School delivered an outstanding performance at the annual Solo & Ensemble Festival held at Cambridge High School on Saturday, February 28. Students showcased their musical talents through a variety of vocal and instrumental solos and small ensembles, representing the strong tradition of music excellence in the New Glarus School District.
Throughout the day, New Glarus students performed for adjudicators and received valuable feedback on their musicianship, technique, and interpretation. Many students earned top ratings for their performances, and many qualified to advance to the State Solo & Ensemble Festival. State qualifiers include:

Those students will represent New Glarus at the State Solo & Ensemble Festival hosted at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville on Saturday, April 25. This prestigious event brings together some of the best young musicians from across Wisconsin to perform and celebrate their achievements.
The district is incredibly proud of the dedication and preparation shown by all students who participated. Their success reflects countless hours of practice, strong family support, and the guidance of New Glarus music staff.
