NEW GLARUS — The New Glarus High School “Raise Your Voice” club is celebrating a successful holiday season after collecting 137 items to donate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s annual toy drive. The drive ran throughout the month of December, giving students, staff, and the community the opportunity to help brighten the holidays for children facing critical illnesses.
“Raise Your Voice is proud to support such a meaningful cause,” said Kali Montgomery, advisor for the club. “Our students showed incredible generosity and leadership in organizing the drive, and the donations will make a real difference for families in need this holiday season.”
Throughout December, club members promoted the drive across the school, coordinated donation drop-off locations, and encouraged peers to contribute. Items collected included toys, games, and other gifts, all of which will be delivered to the Make-A-Wish Foundation to be distributed to children in our region.
The New Glarus High School “Raise Your Voice” club aims to empower students to take action on social causes and make a positive impact in their community. This toy drive is just one example of how the group is putting those values into practice.
