NEW GLARUS - New Glarus High School hosted its first annual Sportsmanship Summit for seniors from 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 11.

The purpose of the summit was to promote leadership as well as school spirit and sportsmanship. The students listened to presentations from administrators and a WIAA official.

In addition, students were given time to brainstorm their definition of sportsmanship as well as ways to increase positive support of the sports teams. Students who participated will receive a shirt and will have front row seating for home events.
