MADISON - "Discover Wisconsin," the state's leading media brand and tourism TV show, will be shining the spotlight on some of Wisconsin's most unique cheeseburgers in an upcoming episode, "8 Unique Wisconsin Cheeseburgers," which will premiere at 10 a.m. Feb. 24 on Fox Sports Wisconsin.
The crew will be filming in New Glarus for the Friday night Burger Wars at Cow & Quince, where the staff finds out whose cheeseburger was ordered the most. The episode was produced in partnership with Discover Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board.
With cheesemakers crafting more than 600 varieties, types and styles of Wisconsin cheese, this gives chefs an opportunity to create a plethora of unique Wisconsin cheeseburgers to please ever-changing palates. The episode, produced by Amy Wallace, will reach Discover Wisconsin's broadcast network of 600,000 viewers across the upper Great Lakes region, including Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Northern Illinois and upper Michigan.
