NEW GLARUS - New Glarus Home, a senior living provider in south-central Wisconsin, will host its official grand opening celebration of The Chalet at Glarner Village from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
The event is open to the public. Guests can tour the new development and learn how this new program will serve the residents of Green County and beyond. A ceremonial opening will take place at 9:30 a.m. with a performance from the New Glarus Mannechor and Jodlerklub.
The Chalet at Glarner Village offers a 32-bed short-term transitional care unit on two floors. Each floor will offer private and semi-private rooms, enhanced dining experiences, guest lounges and life enrichment programming. The Chalet is designed for patients who come to New Glarus Home after a hospital stay for surgery, injury or illness but require additional rehabilitation therapy before returning home. Patients will benefit from state-of-the-art equipment in the new 3,000-square-foot therapy gym.
