The new Monroe High School project is on track to be completed by the end of the school year. Work continues inside the building, as HVAC, electrical, plumbing and flooring get completed. Some rooms inside already have cabinets ready for installation. The Performing Arts Center and gymnasium are also coming together. On the exterior, crimson panels will soon be put on the outside walls, as well as signage. Work on the athletic fields continue. The field turf for the Badger State Ethanol Stadium is complete, and the track and tennis courts were having their base blacktopped on Thursday, Oct. 2. The baseball and softball complex has also made headway, with the netting poles, foul poles, batting cages and landscaping all either installed or continuing to be worked on. Once completed and prior to the 2026 fall trimester, the school district plans to have an open house to the public. More information will be available at a later date.
