More than 1,000 visitors attended the School District of Monroe’s preview event on March 26, showcasing the late construction of the new high school to the public. Guests could walk through the new M-Room, get views of the basketball gym, football field, theater, amongst other parts of the facility. District staff members and MHS Student Senate personnel were on hand to answer questions or even give mini tours. The building is expected to be completed by the end of April, with the sports complex to follow shortly after in June.
