New Glarus teacher gets the New Achiever Award

NEW GLARUS - Julie Martin, family and consumer sciences teacher at New Glarus High School and recent graduate of UW-Stevens Point, has been selected as the Wisconsin Association of Family and Consumer Sciences New Achiever Award winner for 2018. Through her high level of involvement with Family and Career and Community Leaders of America and WAFCS, she has demonstrated potential to make great contributions to the field. She currently serves as an FCCLA adviser and junior adviser and had one of her students competing at the national level last year.
