New Glarus Class of 2025 reports strong preparedness and positive experience in Senior Exit Survey

NEW GLARUS — The New Glarus School District recently shared the results of the Class of 2025 Senior Exit Survey, which highlights strong student satisfaction, high academic expectations, and confidence in post-secondary readiness.

This year’s graduating class reported overwhelmingly positive experiences during their time at New Glarus High School. Nearly 78% of seniors plan to attend a four-year college, with additional students pursuing two-year colleges (6.9%), vocational or technical schools (5.6%), apprenticeships (6.9%), or the military (2.8%).

Seniors also expressed strong support for the educational environment at New Glarus:

●  97.22% agreed their teachers were knowledgeable about the curriculum.

●  95.83% felt they had access to a broad range of electives in academics, the arts, and extracurriculars.

●  95.83% reported the school building was clean, orderly, and well-maintained.

●  93% felt their teachers had high standards that encouraged critical thinking and problem solving.

●  91.67% would recommend New Glarus High School to others.

●  90.28% of seniors believe the district is continually working to improve itself

Additionally, over 95% agreed that the school provided a safe and drug-free environment, and over 90% felt the district did a good or excellent job communicating academic expectations.

Superintendent Jennifer Thayer praised the efforts of staff, students, and the broader community in supporting student success:

These results reflect the dedication of our educators, the strength of our academic programs, and the values of our entire school community. We will continue to listen, improve, and innovate to ensure all students are prepared for their future.”
