BELOIT — First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) is pleased to announce that Verna Neal has joined the bank as loan services manager and officer.

Verna Neal came to the FNBT family in August with 40 years of banking experience in loan processing and operations. In her role as loan services manager and officer, Neal is responsible for quality control, compliance with the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act and mortgage servicing. She will focus on driving operational and servicing efficiency and developing day-to-day operations programs and procedures. She is also responsible for training and developing her team, in addition to managing customer loan accounts and payment accuracy to ensure adherence to all government and corporate guidelines and regulations.

Neal holds a bachelor’s degree from Rockford University and previously attended Rock Valley College and Sauk Valley College. In addition, Neal earned an associate’s degree in medical terminology. In her spare time, she enjoys hobbies of oil painting, flower gardening and trainer her horse. Neal will be based at FNBT’s Operations Center in Beloit.
