MYC offers scholarship for Monroe student
Scholarship

MONROE — Madison Youth Choirs has announced a full tuition scholarship opportunity for any student in the Monroe School District entering 5th through 12th grade to participate in MYC’s performing choir program as a new member during the 2019-20 season.

This opportunity is made possible through the support of Bob Erb and Wendy Weiler Erb, Monroe residents who have been longtime supporters of the benefits music education can offer to young people.

In addition to the guaranteed first-year scholarship, Monroe School District students are eligible to remain on full scholarship with MYC beyond the first year if they qualify for the free and reduced-price lunch program in the district.

Young people entering 5th through 12th grade in the Monroe School District who are interested in joining Madison Youth Choirs are invited to sign up for a 10-minute audition to be held on Wednesday, Aug. 28. Auditions at MYC are relaxed and fun, with no cost to try out and nothing to prepare in advance. Sign up for an online audition on MYC’s website at http://www.madisonyouthchoirs.org/join-a-choir/.For more information, contact: Madison Youth Choirs at info@madisonyouthchoirs.org or 608-238-7464.
