FREEPORT - Betty and the Headlights from Dubuque and Usual Suspects from Freeport will be the featured bands as the 2008 Music On Chicago series continues on Friday, Aug. 8. Betty and the Headlights a favorite regional band will be opening at 6 p.m. and Usual Suspects, a local band, will be the headliner for the show and will be performing at 8:30 p.m.
Music On Chicago , a popular regional event, is sponsored by the Freeport Downtown Development Foundation. Last year, attendance to each event was between 1,500 and 2,000 nightly. Not only do the crowds enjoy the music, there is also a variety of food and beverages to enjoy.
