MONROE - Mt. Olive Lutheran Church is hosting a walk on Monday starting at the church, 1603 16th Ave., at 6:45 p.m.
Those who attend the walk will take the 15 to 20 minutes to walk to Twining Park to participate in the Monroe City Band concert. The concert is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. There are benches available for seating.
Once the concert is complete, a ride will be provided back to the church. Concerts usually last from 45 minutes to an hour. If it rains, the walk will be postponed to another day.
