ORANGEVILLE - The Mighty Richland Players will present the musical, "An American Tapestry," at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13, at the Bethel United Methodist Church in Shannon, Ill.
This one-hour musical presentation is a historic panoply of American songs, beginning with the 1700s and running through World War II. The chorus, of over 16 members, has presented this show in Orangeville and Stockton, and now brings it to Shannon.
The free concert opens with refreshments at 7 p.m. to be followed by a 7:30 p.m. performance. Bethel United Methodist Church asks for a free will donation for the performance. There is limited seating. For reservations or more information, contact Bonnie Foust at (815) 864-2577.
