ONROE - Tyler's TEAM foundation and Jacob's SWAG Foundation brought Scott Backovich, a youth motivational speaker, into the Green County area schools for the week of Nov. 6.
The goal this year was to bring a powerful message to students about kindness, tolerance, acceptance and positive life choices.
Backovich has dedicated his life to doing one thing; inspiring teens by speaking at their level.
Throughout the week, he spoke to over 3,500 students and staff from the Green County area. Backovich traveled to Monroe, Brodhead, New Glarus, Black Hawk, Darlington and Pecatonica schools to speak to middle and high school students and staff from nine area schools. He also stopped at the Juda, Monticello and Albany districts.
Backovich's presentation was because of continued support from Tyler's TEAM Foundation, Jacob's SWAG Foundation and the Our Angels Among Us 5K Run/Walk.
