MONTICELLO - The Monticello Foundation is making plans for its 10th annual Golf Tournament on Monday, June 23 at the Edelweiss Chalet Country Club in New Glarus with a 12:30 p.m. tee time. The golf package includes the 18-hole course fee, golf cart, steak or chicken dinner, and door prizes for $55 per golfer. Non-golfers may choose dinner only for $15 per person.
Businesses and individuals are encouraged to sponsor a golf hole for $30. Donations of door prizes are also welcome. To register for the tournament or to make a tax-deductible donation, contact one of the following directors: Elmer Lemon, Russ Quinn, Jean McMannes, Cathy Sennett, Robert Drafahl, Carol Kubly, Linn Lederman, Marcia Voss or Mark Wittenwyler. The event helps support the Monticello Foundation which provides scholarships for Monticello graduates.
