MONROE - Loaves and Fishes will hold its monthly free community meal from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 27 at Grace Lutheran Church.
The meal is open to the public.
"It is not just a meal for those who don't have the means to buy a full course meal," said Father Brian Backstrand, chair of the steering committee. "It is for everyone in the Green County area from all monetary levels."
Backstrand, and wife, Marilee, who coordinates the kitchen work, are hoping to see the dining room packed with people from all walks of life.
Menu items include roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, mixed vegetables, Jell-O and chocolate applesauce cake with whipped topping.
Colony Brands is the sponsor for April's meal.
