MONROE - The Wisconsin Women's Business Initiative Corporation will offer a free introductory workshop for individuals interested in starting their own businesses from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 27, at the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, 1505 9th St., Monroe.
The workshop will cover topics such as assessing your personal and business skills and the first steps to consider when starting a business. Resources from local business development organizations will be provided. Participants can register by calling the Small Business Development Center in Platteville at (608) 342-1038.
The workshop is offered in partnership with Southwest Wisconsin Technical College, Small Business Development Center, SCORE - Volunteers to Business, Southwest Wisconsin Community Action Agency and Blackhawk Technical College.
