Monroe: Program on helpful gadgets planned

MONROE - Access to Independence will present a free program, "Gadgets to Improve Your Life," from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, at the Monroe Public Library, 925 16th Ave. Come and see items that make life easier for seniors and people with disabilities. Plus, view and discuss part of the POV film "Freedom Machines" recently rebroadcast on Wisconsin Public Television.

Access to Independence is the Independent Living Center serving Columbia, Dodge, Dane and Green Counties in South Central Wisconsin. Included in their services is a loan closet with hundreds of assistive devices people can try out, as well as a loan program to help with purchasing needed equipment.
