Morgan C. Blum, a native of Monroe who acted as Grand Marshal for this year's Bike for Habitat May 17 for Green County Habitat for Humanity, will again ride in the Habitat 500 July 13-19 in Minnesota. Blum is the son of David Blum of Monroe, and Larna Corbin of North Carolina.
He will be riding his bike 500 miles to raise money and awareness for Habitat for Humanity and is asking for sponsor support. The route meanders through the heart of Minnesota on paved bike trails and lightly traveled roadways. The route is from Monticello to Hutchinson, Hutchinson to New London Trail, New London to Little Falls Lake Woobegon Trail, Little Falls to Onamia Loop, Onamia to Foley Bike Trail, Foley to Monticello Wildlife Refuge. This year he hopes to raise $2,500 with your support. All funds raised by Blum support Green County Habitat for Humanity.
