LOS ANGELES - Monroe native Dave McCary and his fellow writers at "Saturday Night Live" will be at the Emmys on Sunday.

"Saturday Night Live" tied "Westworld" with 22 nominations, including for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series.

The Emmys air live on CBS at 7 p.m. Sunday.

McCary graduated from Monroe High School in 2003 and recently made his cinematic directorial debut with "Brigsby Bear," in select theaters now.
