Monroe girl collects $1,262 for Hurricane Harvey relief effort

MONROE - Rylee Svendsen, who had a lemonade stand at her aunt Penny Grinnell's house for two days last week, raised a total of $1,262 to aid in Hurricane Harvey relief. The 9-year-old took in $334 selling lemonade and collecting donations from those who stopped at her stand. The rest of the money came from donations from her aunt, grandparents and great-grandparents.
