MONROE — Monroe Excellence in Education Advisory Board awarded over $24,000 to deserving projects to enhance educational experiences for Monroe students. Since its inception in 2002 the Foundation has awarded over $443,000 in grants to Monroe schools and students.
The Monroe Excellence in Education Foundation responds to the need of the schools in the Monroe District wanting to start new and innovative programs or extend current services. The Fund provides the flexibility for addressing changing needs to advance the most promising, creative approaches in the education of our children.
Grants from the Fund have strengthened ties between generations and have encouraged community participation in Monroe schools.

● VR Headsets for Speech/Language/Occupational Therapy Groups
