MONROE — Monroe Clinic was awarded an ‘A’ in the fall 2019 Hospital Safety Grade, a national distinction recognizing Monroe Clinic’s achievements in providing safe health care. This award is given by The Leapfrog Group, an independent national organization committed to improving health care quality and safety.

The safety grade assigns an A, B, C, D or F grade to hospitals across the country based on their performance in preventing medical errors, infections and other harms among patients in their care. It is calculated by top patient safety experts, peer reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public.
