MONROE - Monroe Clinic Hospice is inviting the community to become a special part of the team that gives comfort and support to the terminally ill and their families.
Hospice volunteers join a team of professionals who help dying patients live out their lives to the fullest. Those who wish to become volunteers should attend the hospice volunteer training program, which is comprised of seven weekly sessions. Training begins March 25 and continues through May 6. The sessions take place on Wednesday afternoons from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the St. Camillus Center. The training is free.
