MONROE - Green County Cheese Days is currently accepting applications for entries into The Swiss Colony Cheese Days Parade in Monroe, scheduled for 12:30 p.m. September 21. It is expected that all entries will be decorated or themed to honor the cheesemaking and dairy farming industries, or to reflect the Swiss heritage of the area.
Green County Cheese Days reserves the right to reject any unit deemed unsafe or unsuitable for the event.
Applications can be requested by e-mailing cheesedays@tds.net, or by leaving a message at the Cheese Days office at (608) 325-7771. Parade entries are due by July 8. The entry fee per float or unit is $25. Float decorations of a floral nature (either natural or artificial) are strongly encouraged.
