MONROE — The Monroe Bible Church will be starting Awana on Wednesday, Sept. 17 and runs through April 2026. 

Awana is a worldwide Christian youth ministry that serves children 3 years old through high school. Middle school and high school time is 5:15-6:15 p.m.; 3 years old through sixth grade is from 6:15-7:45 p.m. 

Awana’s goal is to make resilient child disciples by having adult and student leaders committing to meaningful, intentional and consistent time to a group of children so that they may know who Jesus is and are known by a body of believers or belong, to place their faith in Jesus and apply the word of God or believe and to reproduce their own discipleship or become so that a third spiritual generation can lead and love like Jesus Christ.
