Monroe: 'A Season of Music' kicks off Dec. 11 at UPC

MONROE - At 3p.m. On Saturday, Dec. 11, a musical program entitled, "A Season of Music," will be presented at Union Presbyterian Church, 2707 5th St. in Monroe at

Pieces that will be performed are Advent and Christmas music with piano and organ solos, piano/organ duets, four handed piano, and handchimes.

Those participating are Bobbie Bernet, Mandi Pas, Diana Oostdik, Kathy Reffue, Jeraldine Gordee, Jo Ellen Mosher, Cindi Miller, Jonna Heins, Jacob Scherer, Paul Nelson, Erica Hegi, and Katie Doyle playing Handchimes. Those playing keyboard are Bobbie Bernet, Katie Doyle, Erica Hegi and Maynard Heins.

This concert is free and the public is invited to attend. Everyone is invited to a reception in Fellowship Hall following the concert for a time of fellowship. The church is handicapped accessible. You may call Lisa at the church office with any questions. The phone number is (608) 325-2519
