MONROE - Monroe Middle School will hold its annual holiday party for area senior citizens from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday in the handicapped-accessible new gym.
The student council has planned a variety of activities, including musical entertainment by the Middle School Jazz Band as well as the school chorus, games, prizes and refreshments.
Reservations are appreciated and may be made by calling the school office at 608-328-7120 by 4 p.m. Dec. 20. The parking lot on the south side of the building will be available for parking. The north doors will be locked, so guests should enter on the south side of the building where the parking lot/playground is located.
Those needing assistance into the building may call in advance, and students will meet guests at the south entrance to the building.
