MONROE - Monroe Middle School's annual open house will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30. The open house is an opportunity for students and parents to meet teachers, find classrooms, organize lockers and prepare for the first day of school on Wednesday, Sept. 1.
Again this year the Green County Ag Chest will serve free ice cream to all students and parents throughout the open house hours.
An important meeting is set for 6 p.m., following the open house, for students and parents interested in fall extra-curricular activities, which include seventh- and eighth-grade girls volleyball, seventh- and eighth-grade boys and girls cross country, and the sixth- and seventh-grade fall play.
