MONROE - The Monroe High School bands will hold their final concert of the school year at 7 p.m. May 3 in the PAC. The concert is free and open to the public.
Performing will be the Monroe High School Jazz Band, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, and new this year, the combined ensembles commissioning Eric Whitacre's arrangement of the "Star Spangled Banner." Special recognition will be given to the MHS band seniors, as this is their final performance.
