COLUMBIA, Mo. - Sarah Sabatke of Monroe recently was selected to participate in the University of Missouri's Journalism Abroad London Internship Program.
This summer, Sabatke will travel to London to intern with "Alliance Magazine," the leading magazine for philanthropy and social investment worldwide. Her duties will include writing and editing for the magazine's print and digital editions.
Sabatke, a 2014 graduate of Monroe High School, is a junior at the University of Missouri where she is majoring in convergence journalism with a minor in peace studies. In addition, she is a reporter for the Reynolds Journalism Institute Futures Lab Update and "VOX Magazine" and is a reporter and photographer for the Mizzou Division of Student Affairs. Sabatke's parents are Doug and Debbi Sabatke.
