DARLINGTON - The Memorial Healthcare Foundation Grants and Career Development Committee will be accepting applications for health care scholarships.
Applications for the health care scholarships will be available Monday, April 1 at www.memorialhospital oflafayettecounty.org.
Qualifications for the scholarships include: Being a resident of Lafayette County, pursuing a degree in a health care related field, have completed one year post-secondary education, have a 3.0 GPA or higher and have not received the award within the last 12 months.
There will be five $1,000 scholarships awarded this year, pending the number of applications and qualifications of the candidates. The final awards will be determined by the MHF Grants and Career Development Committee.
The deadline for the applications is Tuesday, April 30. Applications can be submitted online.
