DARLINGTON - The Memorial Healthcare Foundation Grants and Career Development Committee has selected Haley Stark of Darlington for its employee health care grant in 2017.
Stark exemplified educational and community requirements and received $500 at the Oct. 17 MHF meeting.
Stark has worked in the laboratory as a lab technician at the Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County since 2013. She applied for the MHF Employee Grant to take online classes for her bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science from the University of Cincinnati. She is married to Andy Stark, and they have two children: Kylie, 13, and Skylar, 9.
The Memorial Healthcare Foundation offers grant money to hospital employees for continuing education, meetings and classes that are not covered by Lafayette County.
The Foundation's mission is to support and promote Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County through the endowment of new and existing services, scholarships and capital improvements.
