RED OAK, Ill. - The Richland Free Methodist Church will celebrate its 51st anniversary this weekend.
The building was built in 1873 for a congregation of German Methodists. Pastor Lyle Babcock began leading services there 51 years ago.
The church service on Sunday, April 28 will begin with a mini concert from Dave and Duska Ruter, originally from the Baileyville area, followed by a sermon by Babcock.
Following the service, there will be a potluck at the Orangeville Village Hall.
