DARLINGTON - The Memorial Healthcare Foundation Grants and Career Development Committee has selected two recipients for its employee health care grants in 2016.

The recipients exemplified educational and community requirements. The following employees received $500 each in awards at the July 19th MHF meeting.

Lisa Haesler, Darlington, has worked in the operating room as a surgical and central processing technician at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette since 2013. She applied for the MHF Employee Grant to take a Central Sterile Processing course. The course is designed for employees working in a sterile processing area in the operating room. Haesler is married to Brandon Haesler, and they have two children, Quintessa and Danick.

Sandra Singer, Darlington, has worked at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County since 2008 in the operating room as a surgical and central processing technician. She applied for the MHF Employee Grant to attend classes to work towards her registered nurse degree at Southwest Technical College in Fennimore with plans of graduating in May of 2017.
