MCCONNELL - The McConnell Area Historical Society's annual strawberry social is from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at the McConnell United Methodist Church Hall, 211 N. Hulbert Road in McConnell. The menu will include pork chop sandwiches, barbecue sandwiches, hot dogs, coney dogs, potato salad, baked beans, cheese, homemade pie, cake, beverages, and strawberries and ice cream.
