MCCONNELL, Illinois — The annual McConnell Strawberry Social will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 1 at the McConnell United Methodist Church Hall, 211 N. Hulbert Rd. 

The menu will include pork chop sandwiches, BBQ sandwiches, hot dogs, coney dogs, potato salad, baked beans, cheese, homemade pie, cake, beverages and strawberries and ice cream. 

Carry outs are available. The facility is handicapped accessible.
