MONROE - The Green County Master Gardeners will be hosting a Hidden Delavan Treasures bus trip June 27.

The event is open to the public and seats are available on a first-come basis.

The day-long event includes round-trip transportation on a coach bus leaving at 8 a.m. from the Pleasant View Complex parking lot, N3150 Wisconsin 81, and touring the Doug Amon Rose Gardens. From there, the group will venture to the Congdon Gardens to view garden layouts. Free time will be available to explore downtown Delavan and have lunch. To finish the day, the group will stop at the Heritage Flower Farm. The group will tour a grower of heirloom perennials; there will be an opportunity to purchase some.

The bus will return to Monroe at about 5 p.m.

The trip is open to the public and those who attend are not required to be a Master Gardener to participate. Registrations and $20 fees are due by June 13. A copy of the registration form is available on the Green County Master Gardener webpage at green.uwex.edu/horticulture/gcmga.
