Main Street Monroe has placed rocks downtown to continue to promote its slogan: “Main Street Rocks.” 

The rocks were unveiled Sept. 18. About a dozen volunteers have spent more than 200 hours painting rocks in a variety of sizes.

Main Street Monroe is encouraging people to add to the rocks.
