MONROE — Join the Monroe Arts Center in Gunderson Stiles Concert Hall on Dec. 20, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. to experience the Stanley Gospel Carols as they return to MAC to delight audiences this holiday season. Tamera and Leotha Stanley have produced a holiday concert that should not be missed if you are looking for that special family experience to enjoy a harmonious blend of gospel music along with a collection of standard Christmas Carols sung with a Stanley twist. MAC is excited to bring this holiday performance favorite back to their stage.
Leotha and Tamera Stanley are the music directors for Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Madison, WI. He conducts the music while she sings and conducts the chorus. They have written and performed with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra during Concerts on the Square and appeared with the Madison Symphony Orchestra during their Christmas Concert for the last 19 years.
MAC’s Executive Director Marie Perry notes, “Bringing this extraordinary talent to our stage for the enjoyment of all ages is something we are excited about this holiday season. We want to expand our audiences, create lasting memories, and bring family performances to our community. There is really no better time to do this than the holiday season when everyone is looking forward to spending time together. Music fills our souls and we cherish the ability to provide quality programming through the generosity of our wonderful donors here at MAC.”
