MAC to host ‘Ice Bar’ adventure fundraiser

MONROE — On Friday and Saturday, Feb. 14 and 15, Monroe Arts Center is holding a real “Ice Bar” adventure as a way for friends, family, or special Valentines to enjoy an evening of music, lights and fun all while supporting this winter fundraiser for MAC. Monroe Arts Center is located at 1315 11th St., Monroe.

The “Ice Bar” will open from 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 14 and will host outdoor seating with heaters under the terrace tent. Each ticket purchase includes one free drink, sweets and entrance to the “Ice Bar.” Those attending must be 21 and over to purchase tickets; ID required.

Children will have the opportunity to get in on the “Ice Bar” from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15. For $1, they can enjoy hot chocolate on the heated terrace.

The “Ice Bar” fun will continue from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15. Each Saturday ticket purchase includes one free drink and entrance to the “Ice Bar,” with outdoor seating (with heaters) under the terrace tent. Must be 21 and over to purchase tickets; ID required.

Individuals who have a ticket for the 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15 performance of “Divas After Dark” receive free admission to the “Ice Bar.”
