MONROE — Entries are due this week for the Wisconsin Regional Arts Program (WRAP) Amateur Artist Competition at Monroe Arts Center.
For the 39th consecutive year, Monroe Arts Center will exhibit artwork entered in the WRAP Competition. The competition is open to any non-professional artist, age 18 or older, living in Wisconsin or a neighboring state.
“This exhibit is a highlight of our year,” said MAC Gallery Director Kareesa Wilson. “Being able to showcase the depth of talent in this area is a privilege. We can’t wait to see the entries.”
State Award winners selected at the Monroe exhibit, along with all other 2025-2026 WRAP competition winners held throughout the Wisconsin, will be on display in September at a location yet to be determined. Additional awards and prizes will be given at this time.
The WRAP exhibit runs March 5-16 in the Frehner Art Gallery. This event is co-sponsored by the Monroe Arts Center and the Association of Wisconsin Artists.
Entries in any art medium are due Feb. 20. A closing reception and free art workshop are set for May 16.
