MONROE — The Monroe Arts Center is thrilled to announce its 2025 Monsignor Campion Youth Art Contest Winners. Thanks to the kindness of the Thomas F Campion Charitable Fund, which supported MAC’s annual youth art contest, the Monroe Arts Center was able to purchase art supplies to give each participant a variety of art supplies to work with. These 2D and 3D kits were created by MAC staff and offered free to any contestants who wanted them.
Contestants created work over their Spring Break and when finished, submitted their creations to MAC for exhibit. The work of all contestants is currently on display in MAC’s Monsignor Campion’s Art Gallery and in the main lobby.
MAC’s Executive Director Marie Perry is also thankful to local Art Teacher Devon Calvert for taking the time to come and judge these young talented artists’ works.
“Devon made time after he was done with his teaching day to drive to Monroe and give us his specialized attention as an Art teacher,” Perry said. “He carefully assessed each of our contestant’s works and we are grateful to him for supporting our contest in this meaningful way.”
In each category, first through third place winners took home a ribbon and monetary awards for their creative efforts.
Art contestant’s work will be on display until the end of May in MAC’s Monsignor Campion Youth Art Gallery.
