Lunch & Learn: Behind the Lens
SWLC

BRODHEAD — The next Southern Wisconsin Land Conservancy (SWLC) Lunch and Learn will be held from 12-1 p.m. on April 30 at Three Waters Reserve outside of Brodhead.

SWLC Executive Director, Aryn Swann, and LSRWA President, Craig Ellefson are behind the lens. Featured across the Three Waters Reserve Collective, there is an array of beautiful wildlife and nature photography capturing the wonder of the region. This is a chance to meet the photographers behind many of the photos seen on their websites, emails, print materials, and social media channels.

During this Lunch and Learn session, they will explore the methods and stories behind some of the most popular photos they have shared, as well as other special photography moments. While they cannot give away all of their secret tips and tricks, they are happy to share methods to help improve photography skills.

Following the Lunch and Learn, there will be an optional Trail Walk. Attendees can bring their own camera and weather-appropriate gear, and the group will take a stroll around the property to work on photography skills. Those that don’t have a camera but still want to attend the Trail Walk are welcome to join. The Trail Walk is weather-dependent.

There will also be a follow-up Trail Walks on Nature and Wildlife Photography later in the season.

Three Waters Reserve is located at N3941 Golf Course Road, Brodhead. Register by April 26. Buy tickets online: www.threewatersreserve.com/pages/calendar-1.
